Laneside Farm & Dalehead Court Weekends and Short Breaks 2010

WEEKENDS AND MIDWEEK SHORT BREAKS ARE AVAILABLE EARLY NOVEMBER TO FEBRUARY HALF TERM. At other times letting is weekly Saturday to Saturday though breaks are also available at short-notice if there has been a cancellation or a cottage has not been let.

THE PROCEDURE FOR BOOKING SHORT BREAKS IS: - Please phone 01433 620214 or email laneside@lineone.net If the cottage is available it will be held for 7 days pending receipt of £100 deposit, made payable to Mrs D Neary. Balance is paid day of arrival after inspection of cottage. For Hope call at Laneside Farm to collect keys and be shown round by Dorothy Neary; for Eyam, call at Rebecca’s cottage in the courtyard at Dalehead Court to be shown round by Rebecca.

These prices are for two people. Extra people are charged at the rate of £15 per person irrespective of the number of nights stayed. All prices include gas & electricity - there are no meters.
Linen (optional) is £8 per person and covers sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, bath towels, hand towels and tea towels.

It's quickest to phone 01433 620214 and check that the availability is current: If you prefer you can check availability by email. We can send you booking form and hold the cottage for 7 days pending return of completed form with a £100 per week deposit. - Alternatively you can print out the booking form and send it with a cheque after having checked availability. The balance is paid upon arrival. Bookings are accepted on the following conditions:-

The small print - Terms and Conditions

When formal written confirmation has been received, a firm booking has been made. Cancellation thereafter is subject to the following terms: -

  • Cancellation twelve or more weeks before start of holiday: deposit returned in full.
  • Cancellation within eight to twelve weeks before start of holiday: deposit is lost but will be returned if cottage can be re-let or in part if cottage is let at reduced price.
  • Cancellation less than eight weeks before start of holiday: The whole of the balance due is payable. The cottage will be let at a reduced rate and, if let, the deposit plus balance due less the amount discounted will be returned.
  • The terms above apply only to people permanently resident in the UK. For people resident overseas the rental must be paid in full at the time of booking. However, full or partial refund will be given for cancellations in the time scales set out above less any currency exchange or bank charge.

Please note: We are usually able to re-let cottages even three or four weeks before the start of holiday. We try hard to re-let cancellations - we want you to come back for the holiday you've missed.

UNLIKE MOST HOLIDAY COMPANIES, WE DON'T ASK FOR FINAL PAYMENT THREE MONTHS AHEAD. - THIS DOES NOT MEAN WE CAN ACCEPT LATE CANCELLATIONS. WHATEVER THE CIRCUMSTANCES, IT IS THE CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO INSURE AGAINST PROBLEMS OF HEALTH, BEREAVEMENT, REDUNDANCY ETC. WE OFFER HOLIDAY INSURANCE TO COVER THE UNFORSEEN. - PLEASE ASK FOR DETAILS.
