We aim to give solid customer satisfaction and so encourage repeat
bookings and recommendations. We enjoy showing new visitors around
and seeing the agreeable reaction. Unlike most competitors we
leave the major balance to be paid upon arrival and inspection
of the cottage - and in 24 years we've never had a negative response.

And the result…
We've been successful: most bookings come from regular customers
or recommendation and our occupancy rate is high. Over the years
we have carried out many improvements and upgraded our Hope cottages;
starting afresh at Eyam enabled us to set a new standard whilst
taking account of our experience.

Eyam
We leave a visitor's book in our cottages but never solicit comments.
It is in the nature of people to say nice things but the comments
have surprised us. We have not carefully selected the best comments;
the following came from the first successive visitors after we
opened.
We have all enjoyed a wonderful week in the Peak District
made even better by staying here... ...and all the little extra
details added for our comfort have made it a special break.
It's been wonderful ...such a comfortable house in such
a pretty location ...would love to return one day. Congratulations
on the Captain's House: we've had a wonderful time.
So much thought and care has gone into creating this delightful
house. It is much appreciated. We've had such a wonderful holiday

Hope
Last year our first customers returned from 24 years back with
their grandchildren. The record for re-visits is 27 with lots
and lots of customers in double figures. Many have become friends
of ours over the years.
